1948
The UERM Memorial Hospital was established in Quezon City with an affiliated school of nursing, building on the legacy of the University of the East.
1958
UERMMMCI opened its full College of Medicine, expanding into physician training alongside the teaching hospital.

The institution was renamed University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, honoring the late Philippine president.
1992
