About the School

Quirino State University (QSU) is a public state university in Diffun, Quirino Province. Established in 2001 (from the former Quirino Polytechnic College), it is the only state university in the small, remote province of Quirino in the Cagayan Valley.

QSU serves underserved communities in the mountainous Quirino province, providing accessible higher education to students who might otherwise have limited options.

The university offers programs in engineering, agriculture, education, and criminal justice. QSU plays a vital role in rural development and capacity-building for one of the Philippines’ least-developed provinces.
