About the School

De La Salle University (DLSU) is a private Catholic research university located on Taft Avenue in Manila. Founded in 1911 by the De La Salle Brothers (Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools), it has grown into one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines.

Established by the De La Salle Brothers (Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools) on Nozaleda Street, Manila, initially as a boys’ high school.

1920
