About the School

The University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) is a public state university in Catarman, Northern Samar. Founded in 1918, it is the only state university in Northern Samar and a vital institution for the Eastern Visayas region.

UEP offers programs across engineering, education, agriculture, and business. The university is committed to serving the underserved communities of Northern Samar, one of the Philippines’ less-developed provinces.

Following the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan, UEP has been instrumental in rebuilding educational infrastructure and community resilience in the province. It continues to serve as a beacon of hope for Northern Samar’s youth.
