Benguet State University (BSU) is a public state university in La Trinidad, Benguet. Founded in 1916, it is the premier state university in the Cordillera Administrative Region and a leading center for highland agriculture and forestry research.

Republic Act 7170 granted university status, recognizing the institution’s growth into a comprehensive university.

1999
